United Airlines now flies nonstop between Washington Dulles and Los Cabos. The first flight landed at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) on Sunday, October 25, 2026, and the route runs four days a week this winter, on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. During the busy December holidays it goes daily.
The schedule
According to the schedule United announced, the flight leaves Dulles at 8:30 a.m. and lands in Los Cabos at 12:08 p.m. The return leaves Los Cabos at 1:20 p.m. and gets into Dulles at 7:58 p.m. That’s an easy midday arrival, so you can be at the beach the same afternoon. The plane is a Boeing 737 MAX with 166 seats, El Mundo Digital reports.
With Dulles added, United now flies to Los Cabos from all seven of its U.S. hubs: Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco and Washington.
A busy airport getting bigger
The new route brings Los Cabos International Airport to 53 destinations, 13 in Mexico and 40 abroad, including 30 in the United States and eight in Canada. The airport had handled 5.3 million passengers this year by the end of September, and the airport group GAP plans to invest more than 6.9 billion pesos through 2029 to expand Terminal 2, add boarding gates and speed up customs for international arrivals.
