Tickets are now on sale for the 14th Los Cabos International Film and Creativity Festival, known as FICCLosCabos, which runs December 9 to 13, 2026. The festival’s official site has presale passes for the opening night screening and for daily access to its film and industry program.
What’s on the program so far
The festival opens with an open air screening, followed by a talk with the filmmakers, a cocktail and an opening party. The venue for that first night hasn’t been announced yet. From Thursday, December 10 to Saturday, December 12, Cinépolis San José del Cabo is the main hub, with talks, panels, screenings of the Marejada selection with Q&A sessions, and tributes.
One of those tributes honours Dolores Heredia, the actress born in La Paz, Baja California Sur, and a former president of the Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences, according to IMCINE, Mexico’s national film institute. There’s also a panel of ten emerging Latin American filmmakers moderated by Oscar nominated director Carlos López Estrada, and on December 13 a session on women in the film industry with Argentine actress Griselda Siciliani.
Where it happens
This year the festival spreads beyond the cinema. Venues named in the announcement include La Marina de Puerto Los Cabos, Hotel El Ganzo, JW Marriott Los Cabos, Zadún, Casa Ballena, Suelo Sur, Sage and Plaza Mijares, so much of it lands in and around San José del Cabo. Tickets for the Marejada film screenings will be sold through Cinépolis later, and the festival says it will announce when.
