Getting from Canada to Los Cabos this winter is easier than ever. Porter starts nonstop flights from Edmonton and Toronto on November 16, 2026, and from Ottawa on December 18, and Air Transat adds a weekly Montréal flight from December 10. WestJet is growing its Los Cabos schedule too, from Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and, for the first time, Regina.

It’s a good moment for it. On October 21, the Los Cabos Tourism Board (FITURCA) said it expects more than 300,000 Canadian visitors in 2026, with the Canadian market up 35%. Its director, Rodrigo Esponda, also said international arrivals were down 8% through September, but that bookings for October, November and December are recovering and starting to look like last year’s.

The new and bigger routes

  • Porter, Edmonton to Los Cabos: starts November 16, 2026, up to 4 flights a week at peak.
  • Porter, Toronto Pearson to Los Cabos: starts November 16, 2026, up to 3 flights a week.
  • Porter, Ottawa to Los Cabos: starts December 18, 2026, up to 2 flights a week. Porter says it’s the only airline flying Ottawa to Los Cabos.
  • Air Transat, Montréal to Los Cabos: starts December 10, 2026, 1 flight a week at peak.
  • WestJet, Calgary to Los Cabos: twice daily this winter.
  • WestJet, Edmonton to Los Cabos: twice as many weekly flights as last winter.
  • WestJet, Winnipeg to Los Cabos: more weekly flights.

Porter flies these routes with Embraer E195-E2 jets, which have no middle seats and free WiFi for everyone, according to the airline. Air Transat notes its new routes are subject to regulatory approvals and airport slots, and both airlines say schedules can change, so check the exact dates when you book.
