Street theater, dance, music and even opera are coming to the streets and plazas of Los Cabos. The 13th Pa’h la Calle festival runs from Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, November 22, 2026, and the shows happen out in the open, where anyone walking by can stop and watch.
The name is a playful bit of Mexican Spanish. “Pa’h la calle” is a shortened “para la calle,” roughly “for the street,” and that’s the whole idea. Instead of asking people to buy a ticket and sit in a theater, the festival brings the performers to public spaces so you run into a dance piece or an aria almost by accident.
Who is performing
This year’s lineup brings artists from Spain, Cuba and Costa Rica, along with performers from Los Cabos, La Paz, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Aguascalientes. Besides the performances there are workshops, discussion circles and inclusive activities meant to put the artists in direct contact with the audience.
Pa’h la Calle has been held every year since 2014. It is organized by the nonprofit Arte Detonante A.C. with support from the Los Cabos municipal government, which announced this edition on November 3. Local press describes the festival as free and open to the public, and most performances need no registration.
Good to know before you go
- Watch for the program. When we checked, the full schedule with times and venues had not been published yet. The festival posts updates on its social media as @pahlacalleloscabosfest.
- Expect to find it in town, not at the resorts. The shows take place in streets, plazas and other public spaces across the municipality, often in neighborhoods that rarely get this kind of program.
- Pair it with other plans. The festival overlaps with the start of the high season, and our Los Cabos events calendar lists what else is on in November.
If you enjoy art in an informal setting, the San José del Cabo Art Walk also runs every Thursday evening this season. For more ideas, have a look at our guide to what to do in Cabo San Lucas.
