There are a number of reasons why this is the case, one is the weather, at least 350 sunny days, secondly the number and quality of the golf courses in the area, and it grows constantly too, as is the case with the newest addition, Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club in San José del Cabo. Both Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman designed 9 holes each.
Even the golf courses that are part of resorts in the Cabo area are of a very high level too, for example, Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf and Spa Resort appeared number 9 in a “Golf Digest” magazine ranking list of the "50 Best International Golf Hotels Outside of the United States”, this thanks to their partnership with Cabo del Sol.
So, the hype is not just spin, there are facts to back it up, Los Cabos is Golf Heaven.
